Open for business!

Hi Everyone,

I'm Kim Boutwell and I am the owner of Brunswick Medical Aesthetics, LLC. I am a family nurse practitioner, living and working in Brunswick, Maine. I have been working as a nurse practitioner in occupational health for 5 years. Prior to that, I was a registered nurse. I became an RN in 2001; working in urgent care, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and surgical care settings as well as working in case management and utilization review. I love caring for people! As you can see from my work history, I also love to learn new things!

The pandemic turned the world upside down in 2020. As a health care worker, I found myself having very little flexibility and control of my schedule as an essential worker. For a long time prior to Covid-19, I was interested in aesthetics, but would always talk myself out of pursuing training. In 2021, I decided to give this new venture my best effort and received training in Botox and fillers through an in-person program in Boston. I hope to expand my services over time, but for now, I will be offering neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) and fillers. I am seeking out opportunities for continuing education. I am also researching medical grade skin care lines and speaking with the reps to add skin care as part of the business.

I have already met wonderful people in this new journey. Ruth, the owner of Mo Chara Salon, has allowed me to work out of her salon on Saturdays. Ange and her husband Jim are the owners of the Women's Fitness Studio and Spa, they have welcomed me into their business and offer a variety of services and classes in an amazing historical building in Brunswick.
